Mr. Malaghan is a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is a licensed CPA in Rhode Island, Connecticut and Florida, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants, Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Estate and Tax Planning Council of Eastern Connecticut.

 

He is also a member of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick (Board Emeritus), Westerly Hospital Board of Incorporators, St. Michael Parish Finance Council, Westerly Lion's Club, Westerly Youth Wrestling Club (Treasurer), and the Literacy Volunteers of Washington County (Treasurer).

 

Mr. Malaghan has over 26 years of tax and audit experience in a variety of industries, with specialties in individual income and estate tax preparation and planning, small business consulting, S-Corporation, LLC's, and other pass through entities, and not-for-profit entity financial and tax information reporting. Mr. Malaghan lives in Westerly, RI.
